Biscuit and Sweetie – Heartworm Disease
Biscuit and Sweetie are both “heartworm positive.” This means a mosquito carrying the disease infected them and now they literally have worms in their hearts. Left untreated, Biscuit and Sweetie would eventually start showing signs of irreversible heart and lung disease, such as shortness of breath, cough, and bloated belly from fluid build-up. We want to stop this from happening. We want to stop it dead in its tracks. And we will!
Will you help us get these sweet dogs started on life saving treatment? Be a heartworm hero by clicking on the “sponsor this dog” button below.

Ziggy – Hit by a Car and Needs Surgery!
One-year-old Ziggy was hit by a car and has a broken pelvis and femur. He was taken to a county shelter that doesn’t have the budget for expensive medical treatment, so they reached out to New Rattitude for help. We couldn’t stand to see this sweet boy hopeless and in pain!
New Rattitude rescued him and took him to a specialty veterinary clinic. Ziggy had surgery on Tuesday, January 16th. The cost was $5,696. Donations will be gratefully accepted – just click on the “sponsor this dog” button below.
If you prefer to send a check, mail it to New Rattitude, PO Box 91, DeWitt, MI 48820. Please be sure to write “Sponsor Ziggy” in the note field of your check.
