Adoption Guide
Thank you for welcoming a rescued dog into your heart and home. You are sure to get much love and enjoyment out of the relationship. We are eager to hear how things go during the settling-in period, because our “alumni” will always have a special place in our hearts. Please stay in touch with your dog’s former foster family and we’d love it if you send updates and pictures to our Progress Reports team.
If you ever want advice, need help, or have concerns, New Rattitude is committed to helping. We have a network of very experienced people and we are confident we can help you resolve virtually any problem.
To help you get ready for your new dog, we urge all members of the family to read all ten sections of this Guide (links below) before your dog arrives so that you can be well prepared. You can also use these pages for reference, as needed, throughout your time together. For your convenience, each of the ten sections has links to the other nine sections at the top and bottom of each page so you may easily read them in any order.
